Education

I graduated in May 2018 with a degree in multiplatform journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park.

You may be asking yourself,

What's Multiplatform Journalism?

Great question!

It means that while I am a well-rounded media expert, proficient in editing audio, photos, and video.

Audio Wizardry

I have been working with audio since I first bought Ableton Live 8 in 2011, and have been hooked ever since.

Starting out making bad dubstep tracks, I've learned how to synthesize and shape sound. While this started as a journey to become a famous DJ, journalism school tought me how to use my skills for a better purpose -storytelling.

Taking what I learned about creating compelling audio, I created The Two Beer Queers, a LGBTQ+ lifestyle podcast, with my friend and co-host Josh Hall. The show has been nominated for Best Podcast in the D.C. Webfest, and been listened to over 18,000 times.

Thank you for making it this far through my cover letter! Up at the top of this page, you'll find links to audio samples, my full resume, and my podcast, The Two Beer Queers.

I look forward to hearing from you and setting up an interview! If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Thanks,
